So Apple has a watch. So what? Well they also have a new campus (captured straight from the eyes of a drone – see it here). Well, what else could they possibly create, right? Well I was thinking the same thing until I saw this impressively constructed and perfectly designed quadcopter prototype by German graphic designer Eric Huismann. Even though it’s not Tim Cook’s own design, I’d think he find Huismann’s creation immaculate.
The design itself encapsulates Apple’s sleek tendencies, maintaining a simple black and white body with four iSight cameras streaming live video from the legs. Huismann even went as far as creating a ‘panoramic view’ that has all four legs streaming at once, creating an intense 360 degree video similar to the Google sphere.
Even though it’s technically not an Apple product we love how Huismann really captured the style Apple has. With streaming video straight to your iPhone or iPad, who wouldn’t want one of these? If you’re like us you’re keeping your fingers crossed Cook or someone from Apple stumbles across this and says “Shit, maybe we should do that.” My estimation on price would probably put this thing in the range of ten Apple watches or five new Macbook Pros. But hey, in our industry, to be the best, you have to go above and beyond, and we’ll pay for it.
Probably won’t happen anytime soon as Apple has a picky product line and already believes that the entire world needs them. Drones? The world doesn’t need them yet, but hey, it could.
